Linkly is Australia’s leading supplier of payment integration solutions. Our clients include major banks, utilities, local councils, and major retailers. Our products handle approximately 10% of all online card transactions in Australia, streamlining the payment supply chain for merchants, banks, and acquirers.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Linkly's Infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmap
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team
• Own availability, latency, and capacity targets (four- and five-nines) for payment platforms
• Mature SRE practices including observability, automation, and post-incident learning
• Act as senior escalation point for Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents
• Lead cloud strategy across Azure and AWS
• Oversee network architecture and connectivity for real-time payment traffic
• Partner with Security and Compliance to maintain PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 obligations
• Translate technical concepts into business outcomes for executives and the Board

Requirements

• 12+ years in infrastructure, platform, or technical operations leadership
• 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven track record in payments, fintech, or mission-critical high-availability environments
• Strong technical depth in Azure, AWS, networking, and systems architecture
• Hands-on experience with SRE principles, SLOs, and error budgets
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity in regulated environments
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
• Ability to operate in a player-coach capacity within a small-business environment
