About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the strategy, quality, and execution of media planning and activation across all channels
- Lead and develop a diverse team of digital, cross-channel, and activation specialists
- Serve as the senior client advisor to C-suite and Head of Media/Marketing levels
- Hold end-to-end accountability for biddable and cross-channel media implementation quality and financial governance
- Drive digital and data transformation for priority clients in partnership with Choreograph
- Lead commerce and retail media enablement and go-to-market strategies
- Champion the adoption of WPP Open Media Solutions and data platforms
- Contribute to commercial performance, including Net Sales and Operating Margin objectives
- Maintain and grow senior media publisher relationships
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in digital, data, and commerce transformation within a media agency
- Deep technical and strategic expertise in programmatic, paid social, search, and retail media networks
- Demonstrated capability to build, mentor, and restructure high-performing activation teams
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills within complex matrix organizations
- Proven ability to lead adoption of data platforms and media technology
- Track record of contributing to commercial outcomes and new business pitches
- Experience in financial governance, media audits, and expenditure forecasting
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with WPP Open Media Solutions or comparable enterprise platforms
- Established relationships with senior media publishers
- Experience designing retail media or commerce capability uplift programs
- Familiarity with WPP Commerce frameworks and first-party data integration
