Head of Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior HR leader and strategic partner to the executive team
• Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy to support organizational growth
• Lead all HR aspects for approximately 500 employees, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation
• Build recruitment initiatives across corporate, property management, and construction functions
• Drive employee engagement, leadership development, and retention programs
• Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs and succession plans
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs
• Provide guidance on complex employee relations and regulatory compliance
• Utilize workforce analytics to improve organizational effectiveness
• Lead and mentor the HR team

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
• Significant HR leadership experience within the real estate industry is required
• Experience supporting real estate ownership, development, property management, or construction
• Proven experience leading HR functions for organizations with several hundred employees
• Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development
• Experience partnering directly with executive leadership and ownership groups
• Deep understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CHRP, CHRL, SHRM, SPHR, or equivalent HR designation
