Head of HR Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the local HR team to ensure high-quality execution of daily tasks and strategic projects.
• Overhaul manual HR practices by building scalable, automated processes using tools like Personio, Confluence, and Jira.
• Align local HR processes with global policies regarding career progression, benefits, L&D, and talent acquisition.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data to support reporting for the Managing Director and global leadership.
• Guarantee that all processes, SOPs, and ways of working comply with Indonesian employment law and local regulations.
• Develop efficient payroll processes and manage local compliance requirements.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and confidentiality.
• Provide live training in Bahasa Indonesia on topics such as manager training, performance reviews, and L&D.
• Guide department heads in organizational design, team structure, and workforce planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in HR, talent management, and organizational design.
• Proven experience in leading a team and working within a global company environment.
• Deep knowledge of Indonesian HR practices and local employment law, including payroll and contracting.
• Demonstrated success in implementing scalable HR processes and modernizing traditional practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS tools and digital collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Experience with leadership development, organizational growth, and change management.
