Responsibilities

  • Define reliability standards and requirements for all products and major changes
  • Lead reliability sign-off for key milestones including DVT and PVT readiness
  • Partner with design teams early in the product cycle to influence architecture and material selection
  • Build and lead a world-class test engineering function including chambers, rigs, and automation
  • Own test data integrity and ensure data is used to drive engineering decisions
  • Lead failure analysis across field returns and test failures
  • Drive disciplined root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes
  • Build and grow technical teams across reliability, test, and failure analysis pillars
  • Establish operating rhythms and cross-functional communication between hardware, firmware, and production

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in leadership roles, ideally with high-reliability IoT or consumer electronics
  • Experience in fast-scaling, high-accountability product environments
  • Deep expertise in environmental testing, accelerated life testing, HALT/HASS, and reliability growth
  • Experience with test jigs, instrumentation, DAQ, and automation
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and building lab/test infrastructure
  • Strong discipline in formal failure investigation and corrective action loops
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with high standards and low ego

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in scale-up environments with high-accountability product cycles
