Responsibilities

• Own Cyvl's hardware strategy and roadmap including platform architecture and sensor integration
• Lead vendor selection, BOM procurement, and supply chain management
• Manage contract manufacturing relationships and lead the first production runs
• Build and lead a lean hardware team delivering firmware and hardware UX
• Drive scaled BOM costs down while maintaining quality and reliability

Requirements

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience including leadership roles
• Proven track record of shipping hardware products at scale from design to production
• Deep experience in vendor selection, BOM management, and contract manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government, defense, or regulated environments
• Background in physical AI, robotics, or autonomous vehicles
• Familiarity with edge anonymization and data pipelines
