About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end growth function, including PQL infrastructure, funnel analytics, and lifecycle data.
  • Define and implement PQL (Product-Qualified Lead) models across Gateway, AI Gateway, and Ship.
  • Drive a relentless experiment cadence, prioritizing a backlog of growth ideas based on expected impact.
  • Build and manage the GTM systems layer, using modern tooling and AI to optimize the product-led engine.
  • Develop data layers and playbooks for lifecycle and retention to surface churn and expansion signals.
  • Enable high-scale outbound for Sales and intelligent retention programs for Customer Success.
  • Report weekly updates to the CRO on conversion rates, activation, expansion, and retention health.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in product-led growth (PLG), specifically within developer-focused or infrastructure companies.
  • Deep understanding of PQL models, including how to define, instrument, score, and utilize them for sales motions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and the ability to pull and analyze your own data without relying on analysts.
  • Strong experience with funnel analytics, including activation rates, time-to-value, and retention curves.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate analysis and workflows.
  • Proven track record of owning and executing a consistent experiment cadence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building PQL infrastructure from scratch at a developer tools or infrastructure company.
  • Experience managing growth functions across multiple distinct product lines and personas.
  • Ability to connect top-of-funnel activation to paid conversion through DevRel or content collaboration.
  • Experience working with technical products where the user and the buyer are the same person.
