Head of Greater China Institutional Client Coverage

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the business strategy for the Greater China institutional asset management business.
• Act as a player/coach to lead and grow the business, working closely with existing Client Relationship Managers.
• Drive prospecting activity and leverage existing and new relationships to diversify the client book and achieve growth targets.
• Increase corporate and market awareness of the Greater China business through participation in key events and roadshows.
• Manage the new business pipeline, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of RfPs and pre-pitch intelligence.
• Collaborate with investment teams across public and private markets to represent UBS Asset Management and the wider UBS Group.
• Work cross-functionally across the firm to deliver integrated "OneUBS" solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Significant institutional experience in Greater China, acting in a player/coach capacity.
• Deep understanding of institutional sales processes and cycles within the region.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with sophisticated and demanding institutional clients.
• Strong investment knowledge; CFA charterholder status is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and collaborate effectively across a global organization.
• Proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights and GenAI to enhance productivity.
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred to effectively cover local clients.
