About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Owner’s total compensation philosophy, frameworks, and programs to support global business growth.
  • Design and administer compensation programs, including salary structures, job architecture, career levels, and incentive plans across multiple countries.
  • Lead market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitive pay practices in global markets.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to develop recommendations that balance market competitiveness, internal equity, and budget.
  • Lead annual compensation planning processes, including merit cycles, promotions, and market adjustments.
  • Design and implement competitive equity strategies and policies across various roles and regions.
  • Maintain accurate equity records, including grants, vesting schedules, and exercises, ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop educational resources to help team members understand the value of equity and ownership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in compensation or total rewards supporting global organizations.
  • Proven experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Deep expertise in compensation program design, including salary structures, job architecture, and leveling frameworks.
  • Extensive experience managing equity compensation programs and grant administration.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence leaders across the organization.
  • Proficiency with HR tech stacks and equity administration platforms, specifically Rippling, Remote, and Carta.
