Head of Furniture Department

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the furniture department to ensure alignment with brand standards and financial goals
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust product offerings and inventory
• Curate a product range that complements mattress inventory and create bundled offerings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with furniture suppliers and manufacturers
• Negotiate contracts, monitor quality control, and manage procurement
• Lead, mentor, and develop the furniture department team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the furniture industry (retail, wholesale, or manufacturing)
• Proven track record of managing a department and leading a team
• Deep knowledge of furniture design, construction, and trends
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mattresses and sleep products
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
