Today, Cape provides its secure network to consumers, businesses, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute the technical vision for the federal engineering organization
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of engineers solving Command and Control challenges
• Serve as the key technical partner to federal customers, translating mission requirements into deployed solutions
• Take complete ownership as the technical owner for federal customers, ensuring high standards for security and delivery
• Bridge the gap between core technology and the specific requirements of government partners

Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams for U.S. government, defense, or intelligence community customers
• Understanding of modern software architecture for secure, scalable, and distributed systems
• Ability to define and execute technical strategy aligned with mission objectives
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both engineers and senior government officials
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (Active Top Secret preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud environments like AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
• Experience with air-gapped environments
• Familiarity with federal security compliance standards such as FedRAMP, RMF, or STIGs
• Understanding of cryptographic systems and privacy-conscious design
