Head of Financial Services Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term strategy for digitizing, automating, and scaling rapidly growing workflows while maintaining high regulatory compliance.
• Lead change management and evaluate/implement new technologies to improve processes, routines, technical tools, and decision-making.
• Lead and coach direct-reporting managers to build their strategic, tactical, and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Risk, and Technology departments to ensure scalable operational setups.
• Manage departmental budget, resource allocation, business plans, and process optimization.
• Act as a gatekeeper against increased operational risks.

Requirements

• Academic degree in economics, law, engineering, or a relevant field.
• Several years of operational and strategic experience with AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
• Deep understanding and experience driving operational activities related to financial services under Finansinspektionen supervision.
• Experience leading through other managers and translating group goals into measurable KPIs.
• Proven track record in driving change management, Operational Excellence, and automating manual flows.
• Ability to manage complex business and resource plans, budgets, and risk appetites.
