Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and reconciliation in collaboration with fractional accounting teams
• Own revenue recognition policy and ensure audit readiness
• Lead the transition of accounting functions from outsourced to fully in-house
• Act as a subject matter expert for product and engineering teams regarding ASC 606 / IFRS 15 modules
• Own the quarterly finance board pack and manage liquidity across bank accounts
• Establish scalable processes across the finance stack, including QBO, Xero, Sequence, Ramp, Gusto, and Payfit

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with the ability to close books autonomously
• 4+ years of experience in fast-growing B2B SaaS or AI scaleups
• Ability to work across London and NYC time zones to support product teams
• Proven track record of professional success for at least 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building FP&A models and preparing quarterly board updates
• Experience scaling companies from Series A to Series C+
• Hands-on experience with finance products such as Maxio, Chargebee, Zuora, or Stripe Billing
• Based in or near NYC or London
