About the Company

Northwood is a modern space infrastructure company bringing the benefits of space to the masses through advanced communications technology. We are building a global network of phased array ground stations that enable real-time, reliable communication for satellite missions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Lead preparation of accurate GAAP financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow
• Manage relationships with external auditors and support investor relations for fundraising
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and capital management strategies
• Establish and enhance financial systems, tools, and processes for scalability
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
• Oversee tax compliance across sales, payroll, and federal/state filings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 10-15+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• At least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Expertise in financial accounting, compliance, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA certification
• Experience in manufacturing, technology, or aerospace industries
• Experience with fundraising, venture capital, and investor relations
• Ability to build financial systems and processes from the ground up
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local tax filings
