Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the reporting of key metrics including active practices, ACV, ARR, net dollar retention, and churn
• Build and maintain the company's financial operating model, including scenario planning and tradeoff visibility
• Ensure an accurate, timely monthly close and deliver actionable financial statements
• Own the full FP&A cycle, including budgeting, quarterly actuals, and monthly reporting
• Serve as a key finance partner to the CEO through future fundraising rounds
• Build scalable, AI-native finance infrastructure across accounting, forecasting, spend management, and payroll
• Lead strategic finance projects such as pricing structure, sales commission design, and revenue operations foundations

Requirements

• Experience building operating models, scenario plans, and unit economics from scratch in a startup environment
• Hands-on experience with monthly close, vendor management, and payroll execution
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-finance audiences and stakeholders
• Proven track record of implementing finance systems and building processes from the ground up
• Experience designing or building AI-native workflows for finance tasks to eliminate manual work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience owning or being a key finance partner in a fundraising process
• Experience managing the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting
• Background in revenue operations, pricing strategy, or sales commission structures
