Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• Build the entire finance function from the ground up, including accounting infrastructure, FP&A, tax, and compliance
• Own investor relations end-to-end, including board materials, quarterly updates, and cap table hygiene
• Lead financial preparation for future fundraising rounds, including data room management and diligence coordination
• Develop and own financial models, forecasts, and budgets with a focus on SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV)
• Manage cash management, burn tracking, and capital allocation strategies
• Establish accounting processes and controls, ensuring GAAP and ASC 606 compliance
• Oversee operational tasks such as payroll, benefits administration, and vendor relationships
• Hire and develop the finance team as the company scales

Requirements

• 8+ years of finance experience with a mix of accounting, FP&A, and investor-facing work
• Proven ability to build finance functions and create structure in ambiguous environments
• Strong command of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and financial modeling
• Fluency in SaaS metrics and the ability to build reporting infrastructure around them
• Experience supporting or leading fundraising efforts (Series A and beyond)
• Ability to work 5 days a week on-site in our San Francisco office
