Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function and team
• Drive management reporting, financial analysis, and KPI development
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes
• Support management with financial insights and strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance, governance, and alignment across international entities
• Drive continuous optimisation, digitalisation, and development of finance processes and systems

Requirements

• Experience within an international company (FMCG, trading, wholesale, or distribution preferred)
• Master's degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in finance
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and compliance
• Experience working across multiple countries and legal entities
• Strong ERP and Excel competencies (Microsoft Dynamics AX/Axapta preferred)
• Professional proficiency in English and German
• Knowledge of German accounting regulations and interaction with Zollamt/Finanzamt is an advantage
