Head of Finance - EMEA

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, oversight, and governance for the European Trading business
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on financial performance, capital allocation, and growth initiatives
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning with a focus on trading P&L and cost discipline
• Manage capital and balance sheet strategy, optimizing corporate structure for EU IFR and UK IFPR requirements
• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including daily P&L and monthly management accounts
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks across the European multi-entity structure
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development
• Partner with Heads of Trading and Operations to evaluate performance, incentives, and capital usage

Requirements

• 12+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally within trading, investment, or financial services
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
• Deep understanding of trading P&L, risk metrics, and financial drivers
• Working knowledge of EU IFR and UK IFPR regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-entity European structures
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior business decisions
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with traders and regulators
