Head of Finance Business Partnering - Functions & Workforce Strategy

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Finance Business Partners and Analysts.
• Act as the primary strategic financial partner to the Chief People Officer and Core Function leadership teams (Finance, Legal, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and People).
• Oversee global headcount governance, including employee benefit expenses and headcount management frameworks.
• Drive global workforce financial strategy, including location expansion, talent mapping, and organizational design.
• Translate complex financial data into high-impact strategic narratives for executive decision-making.
• Establish and track critical financial KPIs related to organizational health, span of control, and cost-per-head.
• Drive the automation of headcount tracking and reporting through scalable, tool-driven architectures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in people management, specifically leading senior-level finance professionals.
• Extensive experience in strategic business partnering with senior leadership teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, international location strategies, and managing complex headcount structures.
• Advanced financial modelling skills, with experience building complex capacity models and frameworks.
• Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or an equivalent MBA/Masters in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and hyper-growth technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a hyper-growth FinTech or global technology company.
• Direct experience with Workday and Anaplan integrations.
• Experience utilizing AI to optimize financial processes, data pipelines, and headcount forecasting.
