Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Forward Deployed Engineering team by recruiting and onboarding new engineers
• Establish onboarding programs and customer engagement standards
• Codify operational standards to move customers from initial interest to large-scale deployment
• Define the technical playbook for enterprise integrations and scaling
• Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering leadership on team design and customer health
• Scale the function programmatically by hiring regional leaders in future stages

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in technical, customer-facing leadership roles
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Direct experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar
• Experience building functions or teams within early-stage startups
• Experience at a category-leading technology company (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir)
• Proven track record of hiring and managing high-performing technical teams
• Ability to execute independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a company that reached an IPO or strategic acquisition
• Background in revenue or sales operations
• Prior experience as a software engineer
• Experience managing managers
