Head of Events

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually, including venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience
• Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers for event services, branding materials, and add-ons
• Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
• Plan and coordinate sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer organization
• Maintain inventory tracking and quality-check banners, signage, brochures, and promotional materials
• Support internal team queries and condense operational requests

Requirements

• UK work permit required
• No specific previous work experience required; training is provided
