Head of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution and product delivery to ensure high-quality features are shipped on time
• Build and lead a high-performance engineering team through hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Improve development velocity and quality by optimizing processes and maintaining high reliability standards
• Drive technical direction and make key architectural decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable systems
• Partner closely with Product and the Head of AI Agent Systems to integrate AI-driven workflows into the development process
• Align engineering output with business goals to drive revenue growth and product usage

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems
• Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams
• Track record of delivering products quickly within a high-growth environment
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to make critical architectural decisions
• Experience collaborating effectively with product and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a high-growth startup
• Experience improving engineering velocity and development processes
• Experience integrating AI or automation into development workflows
• Background as a founder or early-stage engineer
