Head of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain engineering vision, standards, and development frameworks
• Lead the evolution of engineering practices, tools, and playbooks
• Manage, mentor, and support Technical Leads and senior engineers
• Ensure consistent technical quality of engineering outputs across projects
• Provide architectural review and solution oversight for key engagements
• Oversee engineering workforce planning, resourcing, and recruitment
• Drive alignment between engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps functions
• Identify and introduce new engineering tools and patterns to drive excellence

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• 4+ years in leadership roles
• Deep understanding of software development practices, secure architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery
• Experience designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems
• Strong grasp of Agile and Lean methodologies
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy or multi-client delivery environments
