Head of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own and drive solution architecture across all projects and products
• Design scalable, high-performance, and maintainable systems
• Lead architecture decisions including frameworks, integrations, and platforms
• Define and enforce architectural patterns such as Microservices, DDD, Event-Driven, and CQRS
• Actively participate in code reviews and ensure high standards in code quality and performance
• Contribute directly to critical and complex implementations when needed
• Define and enforce engineering standards including API design, database design, and testing strategies
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and drive DevOps best practices like Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, APIs, and Microservices
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with mobile development
• Deep understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and distributed systems
• Experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ability to mentor and lead high-performing engineering teams
