Head of Engineering Substation business

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the project engineering team, setting clear goals and performance objectives.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of substation engineering projects, including design, implementation, testing, and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions to resolve operational challenges.
• Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts to ensure cost-effective engineering activities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, providing regular status and budget reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Italy (Iscrizione all’Albo degli Ingegneri).
• Significant experience in project engineering within the energy transmission or substation industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of engineering professionals.
• Strong technical and financial acumen, including expertise in project management and risk mitigation.
• Fluency in both English and Italian is mandatory.
