Head of Engineering - Resource & Competency

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing solutions, including recruiting, transitioning, and maintaining critical competencies and diversity
• Lead annual performance assessments to ensure fairness across project and domain teams
• Support staff development by identifying training needs and delivering professional growth solutions
• Oversee succession planning for leadership, supervisory, and critical technical positions
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and HR to plan and execute resourcing events
• Manage resource cost targets and staffing levels to meet business needs
• Lead local internship, early career development, and global graduate programs
• Collaborate with Project Teams to ensure unified communication with customers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
• 15 years of experience in airframe engineering
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
• Authorized to work in the US
• Proven ability to operate effectively at all levels below Senior Management
• Strong ability to work in a diverse environment and coordinate across multiple functions
