About the Company

Magical is building an AI-native automation platform for enterprise healthcare. We are creating an agentic workforce of AI agents that can execute real work across fragmented systems with the reliability, security, and observability healthcare requires.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction across the AI platform, reliability, security, observability, and deployment architecture
• Build systems that make probabilistic AI reliable enough for enterprise healthcare workflows
• Drive platform evolution to make customer deployments faster, more repeatable, and more scalable
• Manage engineering quality, speed, ownership, architecture review, incident response, and planning
• Provide customer-facing technical credibility regarding security, reliability, and product direction
• Hire and develop exceptional AI-native, product, and infrastructure engineers

Requirements

• Deep technical judgment in LLMs, agents, evals, orchestration, and production AI systems
• Experience scaling high-caliber engineering teams through high-growth stages
• Strong product and business judgment regarding deployment speed and customer trust
• Fluency in enterprise security and healthcare requirements including HIPAA, SOC 2, and PHI
• Ability to represent the company in high-stakes conversations with enterprise healthcare executives
• Strong architecture instincts and the ability to lead without micro-managing
