Head of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Set the bar for engineering velocity through coaching, mentoring, and unblocking the team
• Make fast architectural and security decisions balancing speed with resilience
• Build and own best-in-class developer experience, tooling, and workflows
• Monitor and protect reliability and SLAs while maintaining startup speed
• Establish a culture that celebrates iteration and challenges perfectionism

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in fast-moving startups or scaleups
• Deep technical expertise in architecture and security
• Experience taking products from 0→1 or through hyper-growth
• Obsession with engineering velocity and developer experience
• Strong execution focus on monitoring, observability, and performance
• Bullish on AI-assisted workflows and modern development practices
