About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own Active Customers and Active Balance per Customer metrics to drive portfolio expansion.
  • Orchestrate Bondora's customer-level engagement system using a decision-driven loop across digital surfaces and messaging channels.
  • Operate and harden Braze as the primary orchestration backbone, managing flows, governance, and execution standards.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to drive the decision engine and next-best-action logic.
  • Build and govern a modular, personalizable, and localizable content library to enable scalable orchestration.
  • Lead and develop a team of three, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with acquisition, product, analytics, engineering, legal, and risk teams.
  • Analyze and iterate on campaign performance, channel conversion, and ROAS to feed insights back into model retraining.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in lifecycle, CRM, and retention marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
  • Deep expertise in direct marketing channels including email, SMS, and WhatsApp automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights.
  • Proven track record in driving customer lifetime value, ideally within fintech, banking, or recurring revenue models.
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling retention functions in high-growth scale-up environments.
  • Proficiency with Braze or similar sophisticated customer engagement platforms.
  • Understanding of performance marketing fundamentals and cross-channel retention strategies.
