Head of Electric Traction

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrification activities, including Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) and Power Supply (POS) subsystems
• Ensure safety, EHS compliance, and quality requirements are fully implemented within the electrification scope of works
• Plan, monitor, and control end-to-end electrification activities, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, and risks
• Define electrification strategy in alignment with contract requirements
• Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, consultants, and partners
• Drive resource management and foster collaboration across multi-site teams
• Optimize electrification financial performance, specifically regarding margin and cash

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation as per Canadian regulations
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in railroad electrification project management
• Proven experience managing critical brownfield projects
• Experience managing and coordinating engineering services related to rail systems
• Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating multi-site teams
• Advanced negotiation and customer relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management
