Head of DMPK

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overarching DMPK strategy for a diverse therapeutic area portfolio
• Ensure scientific excellence as programs move from early discovery into development
• Partner with Data Science and ML teams to refine predictive ADME models
• Act as a strategic subject matter expert for high-stakes external partnerships
• Develop and lead a high-performing team of scientists
• Integrate DMPK insights into target validation and lead optimization through cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Proven track record of moving multiple programs from Discovery into Development
• Deep expertise in small molecule DMPK
• Familiarity with IND submission requirements and regulatory interactions
• Expertise in in vitro and in vivo ADME and contemporary PK/PD modeling
• Experience with human PK and efficacious dose prediction
• Proficiency in managing CROs and external collaborators
