About the Company

PhonePe is a leading digital payments platform in India with over 600 million registered users. Its portfolio includes financial products like insurance, lending, and wealth management, as well as new consumer tech businesses like Pincode and Indus AppStore.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design experience for Share.Market, including strategy, flows, visual craft, and microcopy
• Act as a hands-on leader by designing complex screens and prototyping solutions
• Simplify dense financial data and regulated flows for diverse user segments
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps and tradeoffs
• Build, manage, and grow the design team as the product scales

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design with ownership of consumer products at scale
• Proven expertise in interaction design, visual polish, and design systems
• Experience designing for data-heavy or regulated products (fintech, trading, or healthcare preferred)
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design with the whole product in mind
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for microcopy and stakeholder management
• Player-coach mindset with the ability to lead while remaining hands-on with design files

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain knowledge in broking, F&O, market structure, or wealth management
• Experience working within highly regulated financial environments
