Head of Design & Project Delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation of architectural, structural, MEP, and joinery shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit
• Ensure all projects adhere to DHA or MOHAP Health Facility Guidelines
• Manage specialized MEP requirements including infection control HVAC, Medical Gas, and Lead Lining
• Oversee contractor and consultant management, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Lead high-intensity snagging/de-snagging cycles and operational readiness audits
• Manage project budgets, validate contractor payment applications, and track variations
• Lead end-to-end tendering, including preparation of Tender Packages and contractor prequalification
• Negotiate commercial terms with contractors to ensure value for money

Requirements

• 10–15 years in Design-Build or Fit-out Delivery
• Proven track record of delivering high-end healthcare or clinical projects in the UAE
• Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency
• Ability to navigate BIM/Revit and use Bluebeam Revu
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
• Experience with UK (NHS/HTM) or USA (FGI/AIA) healthcare guidelines is a significant advantage
