Head of Design

Responsibilities

• Personally lead design on critical product surfaces, setting standards for quality and usability
• Bring a clear point of view on designing AI-native products and human-AI interaction
• Define product experience principles from onboarding through core workflows
• Work alongside product and engineering to define direction and ensure coherent experiences
• Push teams to simplify scope and focus on user value
• Bring design into strategic decisions, shaping roadmap and prioritization
• Establish scalable design systems, patterns, and practices
• Lead and grow the design team

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience
• Zero to one product design experience (building from scratch)
• Experience contributing to or reaching product-market fit
• B2B product experience, ideally in fintech or data-heavy environments
• Experience leading designers or operating as a high-level senior IC
• Strong product sense and high quality bar
• Comfort with ambiguity
• AI-native mindset
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Fintech or private markets experience
• Founder or early-stage experience
• Experience building or shaping discovery and research practices
