About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the BCA curriculum in collaboration with faculty members
- Monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning
- Lead, motivate, and manage the BCA faculty team
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor student performance and provide academic and career support
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and facilities
- Establish collaborations with industries to enhance curriculum relevance and student placements
- Ensure compliance with university and regulatory accreditation standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer applications (MCA), Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership
- At least 1 year in a management or HOD role in a similar educational setting
- Proven experience in curriculum design and faculty management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Applications or Computer Science
- Experience in the Bangalore educational sector
