Head of Decision Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Decision Intelligence (DI) strategy aligned with enterprise data and AI objectives.
• Lead a global Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore, managing multi-disciplinary teams including Power BI developers, AI/ML specialists, and data scientists.
• Drive the integration of next-generation capabilities such as Generative AI, agentic AI, and conversational intelligence into BI workflows.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of DI solutions, including design, build, governance, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards and semantic models.
• Act as a strategic partner to global business leaders across commercial, supply chain, R&D, and finance to translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Establish global BI standards, architecture, and operating principles to ensure scalability and consistency across all markets.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Decision Intelligence, Data & Analytics, or related fields.
• 5+ years in global leadership roles managing large, multi-disciplinary analytics teams.
• Proven ownership of enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) at a global scale.
• Demonstrated track record of integrating data science, machine learning, and Generative/Agentic AI into analytics products.
• Deep technical expertise in Power BI, including DAX, semantic models, and Fabric/Power BI service architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), data modeling, and data engineering fundamentals.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive-level leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python/R and GenAI frameworks.
• Experience with autonomous AI agent patterns and conversational analytics.
• Familiarity with UX design principles for data products and insight consumption.
