Head of Decision Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Decision Intelligence (DI) strategy aligned with enterprise data and AI objectives.
• Lead a global Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore, managing a multi-disciplinary team of Power BI developers, BI engineers, UX designers, and AI/ML specialists.
• Establish the vision for next-generation DI capabilities, integrating Generative AI, agentic AI, and automated insight generation.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of DI solutions, including design, build, governance, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards and semantic models.
• Drive enterprise insight democratization through self-service analytics and AI-augmented decision support tools.
• Act as a strategic partner to global business leaders across commercial, supply chain, R&D, and finance functions to translate business needs into actionable BI initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Decision Intelligence, Data & Analytics, or related fields.
• 5+ years in global leadership roles, with proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in complex multinational enterprises.
• Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise BI platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik) at a global scale.
• Deep expertise in modern BI technologies, specifically Power BI (including DAX, semantic models, and Fabric/Power BI service architecture).
• Strong track record of integrating data science, machine learning, and Generative AI/Agentic AI into analytics products.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), data modeling, and data engineering fundamentals.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at both executive and operational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python/R and AI/ML workflows.
• Experience with GenAI frameworks and autonomous AI agent patterns.
• Familiarity with UX design principles for data products and insight consumption.
• Experience shaping and running a BI or analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE).
