Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap to modernize data architecture and migrate legacy systems to a modern AWS ecosystem
• Architect and implement a robust data lakehouse solution using AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift/Athena) and potentially Databricks
• Design CI/CD pipelines for Machine Learning using tools like SageMaker to support MLOps and AIOps
• Establish rigorous data governance standards, including data lineage, security, and quality control
• Embed data signals into operational workflows to move from reactive reporting to predictive intelligence
• Recruit and mentor a high-performing team of data and ML engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Engineering or ML Engineering
• 4+ years in a leadership role scaling data platforms
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and Redshift
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, Distributed Computing, and SQL
• Proven experience building Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines
• Experience with model drift, feature stores, and inference latency
• Experience implementing data governance in regulated industries like FinTech or Banking is highly preferred
