Head of Data Operations

Responsibilities

• Own the D&I operational planning process, ensuring projects are scoped, defined, and appropriately resourced
• Manage team capacity for Analytics Engineers and Analytics Developers to drive optimal resource allocation
• Drive team ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and quarterly planning sessions
• Oversee the triage and coordination of inbound support requests from across the business
• Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes to increase efficiency and scalability
• Directly manage and develop Analytics Engineers and Developers through weekly 1:1s and career coaching
• Maintain team tooling such as Asana to ensure work is tracked and visible

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data, analytics, or technical operations
• 2+ years of experience directly managing and developing technical teams
• Proven track record of owning delivery planning and operational coordination within a data or engineering function
• Strong expertise in running Agile processes and team ceremonies
• Hands-on experience with project management tools like Asana or Jira
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK and ability to work from the London office 3+ days per week
