Head of Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise data governance strategy, operating model, and capabilities across all domains and regions
• Own the governance vision and roadmap, ensuring data is trusted, compliant, and fit for business and regulatory use
• Lead a specialist team of Data Governance Specialists and IDMC Marketplace Product Managers
• Oversee the enterprise governance tooling strategy, specifically focusing on Informatica IDMC, Catalog, and Marketplace
• Establish and sustain clear data ownership and stewardship models across the global organization
• Partner with senior business, technology, analytics, and risk leaders to embed scalable governance practices
• Monitor enterprise governance KPIs and ensure measurable outcomes in data quality and reuse
• Ensure governance frameworks support regulatory, privacy, security, and data integrity requirements

Requirements

• 18+ years of deep expertise in enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models
• Strong understanding of MDM, Data Quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle governance
• Proven senior leadership capability with experience in people leadership and executive influence
• Extensive experience in senior data governance, master data, or enterprise data leadership roles within large, global, regulated organizations
• Strong experience governing and scaling data governance tooling, ideally Informatica IDMC and Marketplace
• Degree in Data, Technology, Information Management, or a related field
