Head of Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise data governance strategy, frameworks, and operating model
• Establish clear governance principles, standards, and decision rights across data domains
• Lead Data Governance Specialists and IDMC Marketplace Product Managers
• Own the enterprise governance tooling strategy, including Informatica IDMC Governance, Catalog, and Marketplace
• Establish and sustain clear data ownership and stewardship models across the enterprise
• Act as the enterprise point of accountability for Data Governance with senior business and technology leaders
• Ensure governance frameworks support regulatory, privacy, security, and data integrity requirements
• Define and monitor enterprise governance KPIs and value indicators

Requirements

• 18+ years of expertise in enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models
• Strong understanding of MDM, Data Quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle governance
• Proven senior leadership capability and executive influence
• Experience governing and scaling data governance tooling, ideally Informatica IDMC and Marketplace
• Degree or equivalent experience in Data, Technology, Information Management, or related fields
• Extensive experience in senior data governance or enterprise data leadership roles
• Experience operating in large, global, regulated organisations
