Head of Cyber Security

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives to ensure the security and resiliency of IT and OT infrastructure, platforms, and data.
• Develop and execute strategic cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with business requirements and enterprise transformation goals.
• Strengthen Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) posture across IT and OT systems.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and controls.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Collaborate with global business and IT leaders to manage security incidents, monitor threats, and reduce vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 18+ years of experience in IT Security, Cyber Risk, or GRC roles.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience implementing security capabilities including GRC, Network Security, EDR, WAF, SIEM/SOAR, and IAM (IGA, PAM, SSO, MFA).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or PMP.
• Experience managing large-scale IT operations and security programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with specific regional regulations including NIS 2.0, GDPR, and various APAC/US cybersecurity laws.
• Experience with modern software architectures and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and CxO-level communication skills.
