Head of CPO EV Infrastructure Strategy & Rollout

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall EV charging infrastructure rollout strategy across urban, intercity, and highway corridors.
• Identify and prioritize high-potential deployment locations based on traffic flow, grid readiness, and commercial potential.
• Lead site-level business case development, evaluating CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, and pricing models.
• Assess grid availability, electrical capacity, and connection requirements for proposed charging sites.
• Define optimal charger configurations, including AC vs. DC sizing and load balancing.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of charging sites from initial feasibility and permitting through installation and commissioning.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and contractors to ensure efficient rollout and high uptime.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in finance, legal, and operations to align infrastructure investment with long-term strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• 10–15+ years of experience in infrastructure or energy deployment (utilities, telecom, or renewable energy).
• Strong understanding of power systems, electrical infrastructure, and grid connectivity.
• Solid knowledge of AC and DC charging technologies and charger capacity planning.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale physical network deployments from pilot to nationwide rollout.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct experience in EV charging infrastructure.
• Experience in renewable energy, distributed energy systems, or fuel station rollout.
