Head of Corporate Legal

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of 10 legal professionals to support company scaling towards IPO
• Provide expert counsel on corporate governance, finance, tax, treasury, and investor relations
• Manage mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including due diligence, deal execution, and post-closing integration
• Oversee subsidiary management, corporate transactions, and inter-company agreements
• Maintain corporate governance guidelines, committee charters, and prepare Board presentation materials
• Support executive compensation, stock plan administration, and equity incentive plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Finance, HR, Tax, and Corporate Development

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Thorough training and experience from a top-tier law firm
• 15 years of progressive corporate law experience, ideally with rapidly growing tech companies
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-border management
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Fintech or payments industry
