Head of Core Banking Transformation

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of senior core banking engineers across migration, payments integration, APIs, and deployment automation initiatives
• Define modernization strategies for multi-version, multi-client core banking platforms while ensuring uptime and data integrity
• Review architecture and code-level decisions across major platforms including Temenos, Oracle Flexcube, Finastra, and Finacle
• Establish standards for version governance, cutover planning, regression automation, and operational controls
• Partner with product, security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to convert core capabilities into modern APIs and governed data products
• Manage and develop teams through technical coaching, performance management, and execution oversight

Requirements

• 13+ years of experience in core banking engineering, modernization, or technical leadership
• 8+ years of experience delivering migration, upgrade, or cloud-hosted transformation programs
• 8+ years of experience with major platforms such as Temenos Transact, Oracle Flexcube, Finastra Fusion, or Finacle
• 8+ years of experience supporting payments, general ledger, deposits, loans, and regulatory reporting domains
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing professional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business
