Fleek is building the infrastructure powering the global secondhand clothing trade through a B2B marketplace and AI systems. Since 2022, we've saved 9 million items from landfill and tripled in size year-on-year, backed by investors like a16z and Y Combinator.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish accounting processes, controls, and operating rhythms
• Assess and rebuild existing systems and workflows to ensure scalability
• Own the month-end close rhythm across finance and partner teams
• Drive cross-functional discipline to improve input quality and consistency
• Implement robust finance functions without introducing excessive bureaucracy

Requirements

• Accounting qualification (CA, CCA, or CPA)
• Experience in scaled environments (MNCs, big tech, or similar)
• Experience building accounting systems or processes from scratch
• Exposure to early-stage company environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance structure with lightweight operations

• Experience with remote or distributed teams
