Head of Content

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for websites, podcasts, and video platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of editors and writers to foster an innovative editorial environment.
• Spearhead the digital transformation of publications by implementing a digital-first content model.
• Optimize content for various digital channels, including social media, newsletters, and multimedia formats.
• Implement SEO best practices and utilize digital analytics to measure performance and audience engagement.
• Maintain high editorial standards through rigorous fact-checking and editing processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10-12 years of editorial experience, with a significant focus on digital content across multiple mediums.
• Proven track record of driving traffic growth in B2B or niche industry media.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), SEO, and digital analytics tools.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
