Head of Consulting

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial relationships across a portfolio of prospect client accounts
• Create and maintain a robust prospecting and sales strategy to maximize new revenue streams
• Identify effective routes to market and set clear targets to win new business
• Drive client-facing activity by securing meetings with new contacts
• Develop a framework for relationship development and account penetration
• Maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities and coordinate efforts through to contract closure
• Liaise with consultants to promote business development best practices
• Lead negotiations and support the pitch process to win client contracts
• Support sales enablement and marketing campaigns
• Represent the firm at industry events, forums, and panel discussions

Requirements

• Strong new business development or strategic account management background in consulting or professional services
• Proven track record of managing relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Extensive experience consulting for the Financial Services sector plus at least two other industries
• Expertise in areas such as Strategy, Business Transformation, Operational Efficiency, AI, Digital, or Change Management
• Proven success in developing and winning proposals using various sales methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial startup environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at Strategy Houses or global management consultancies with UK market exposure
