Head of Compliance and Operational Risk Control – Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line of defence oversight and challenge of compliance risks across UBS Asset Management Singapore
• Act as the senior CORC point of contact for MAS and other local regulators
• Oversee the identification, assessment and monitoring of operational and broader non-financial risks
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Asset Management management in Singapore
• Lead, develop and retain a high-performing CORC AM team in Singapore
• Ensure consistency with global standards while reflecting local requirements

Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in compliance or operational risk management
• Strong knowledge of Singapore asset management regulatory requirements
• Proven experience engaging regulators and senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership and judgment skills
• Ability to evaluate AI workflows with sound judgment and ethical alignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Second line of defence experience
• Cross-border asset management exposure
• Professional compliance, risk, legal or finance qualifications
