Head of Community

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute developer meetups and hackathons in the San Francisco/Bay Area every two months.
• Recruit high-profile speakers, strategic partners, and co-hosts from the developer infrastructure space.
• Cultivate and scale the online community space (Slack) through authentic, non-corporate engagement.
• Establish robust relationships across the developer tools ecosystem to keep the organization connected to core builders.
• Strategically transform community activity and event attendance into actionable leads for the sales pipeline.

Requirements

• 0 to 5 years of experience in community building, event management, or field marketing within developer tools, DevOps, or infrastructure.
• Deeply embedded network of builders, engineers, and companies within the developer infrastructure landscape.
• Proven track record of organizing developer-focused events end-to-end.
• Scrappy, resourceful, and self-directed operational mindset.
• Ability to travel to San Francisco every two months (residency in the SF Bay Area is highly preferred).
